Kenya Cultural Centre and Greece Embassy in Nairobi presents ‘Musical Winds of Aeolus’, an ethnic Jazz Piano Tribute happening on 16th March 2025 at the Kenya National Theatre. The program consists of Dimitris Charlafti’s original compositions, as well as musical traditions from Greece, the Balkans and the Southeast Mediterranean. Dimitris’ prototype works for piano incorporate jazz, latin, ethnic, experimental and film music in a unique multi-color musical grind. Various backgrounds and cultural influences of European and Afro-latin rhythms and melodies are being transformed in the keyboard in a unique musical experience.
